On Sunday we met at the airport to head for the Emerald Isle. Once we arrived in Dublin we took the bus to take us all the way across to Galway, where we met our host parents in the evening.
Monday morning woke us with bright sunshine as we made our way to our first language lessons at the Galway Cultural Institute. In the afternoon, we were shown around the city by one of our local teachers. We were also give the chance to watch an Irish film, partake in a treasure hunt, visit the aquarium and the local museum and to go bowling on the following days.
On Saturday we had a full day trip to the famous Cliffs of Moher, the rocky landscape of the Burren and the Ailwee Cave. On Sunday morning, however, we had to get up early to reach our flight that would take us back home from Dublin.
