This year‘s language trip took us to Malta. 7AC and 7D were welcomed by warm and sunny weather which remained faithful throughout our stay.
Harbor Cruise Valletta
Just after the arrival at our hostel in Sliema we enjoyed a cruise around the peninsula of Valletta leading us to Manoel Island, the Black Pearl pirate’s ship, several forts, the Docklands as well as the Three Cities.

Three Cities Tour
On Thursday morning we enjoy a trip to the cities of Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua learning about Malta‘s eventful history from our guide Joe.

Bowling
In the evening, after having spent the afternoon at the language school, we had a fun trip to St. Julian’s where we went to a bowling alley. Split into two groups, it soon turned out the teachers couldn’t stand a chance to the victorious students.

South of Malta
On Friday our tour guide Marita took us to the cliffs at Dingli – at 250m the highest point of the island of Malta. Afterwards we went on a boat trip around the caves in and around the Blue Grotto. Last but not least, we visited the harbor of the fishing village of Marsaxlokk.

Gozo&Comino
On our last day in Malta we went to the two smaller neighboring islands. Our tour guide Paul showed us the Blue Hole and the Inland Sea, followed by Gozo’s capital Victoria. Lastly, a speedboat took us to Comino which is appealing because of the crystal clear turquoise water.
